Making Models /w/ Glue:

One of the most popular uses of glue is creating models. These can be model airplanes, model toys, model cars, boats, figurines, almost anything. Cyanoacrylate glue, more commonly known as Krazy Glue is the type that is mainly used for building models. Using it is pretty simple: a model comes with instructions telling you which pieces to glue together and one would glue them together by applying the glue to one piece and firmly holding the other piece to it long enough for the adhesive to dry.

Marine uses: Case: Mussels

When people think of using glue they generally think of people using glue, however other creatures in the animal kingdom use glue to survive in their everyday life as well. Mussels create a natural, waterproof, incredibly strong glue. Using this glue, mussels will often cluster together and stick to rocks( Purdue News, 2004, paragraph 1). This makes it very hard for predators to get a hold of the mussels because the glue is so strong and because when they are clustered so tightly, their round shape makes them hard to grab hold of
